Carter’s Dry Cleaners is a full service dry cleaning and laundry business with free pick-up and delivery.
We clean all types of clothes. We also offer same day service, wedding gown preservation, laundered shirts, drapes, and bedding. Additionally, we offer alterations and repairs, leather and suede cleaning, and sheepskin boot Uggs cleaning.
We recycle plastic bags and hangers and accept clothes for donations.
Dry Cleaning
Carter's professional dry cleaning services takes special care to ensure that your clothes come back clean and freshly pressed with bright colors and soft textures.
Our goal is to restore your clothing to its "like new" condition.
In addition to inspecting for missing buttons and tears, we check pockets so that any forgotten valuables can be returned to you. We also use special care for delicate items with measures such as shoulder guards and foam hanger covers to protect your clothing from hanger impressions.

We use the best detergents with digestive enzymes and whitening power to keep your colors bright and your white shirts white.
We use state-of-the-art pressing equipment for that freshly crisp finish. Missing or broken buttons are replaced and your personal preferences -- starch, no starch, folded or on hangers -- are taken care of.

Delivery usually takes 3 days from the pick-up date. If you need it sooner, let us know, and we can have it the next day. If you forget to put your clothes out on your pick-up day or you just got back from vacation, give us a call to arrange a pick-up day.

Wedding Gown Preservation
After you say “I Do,” make sure you have your wedding gown professionally cleaned and preserved for years to come at Carter’s Dry Cleaners.
Whether you keep your wedding dress as a cherished family heirloom to admire or to pass down to future generations, we recommend having your wedding gown cleaned as soon as possible.
The cleaning process begins with a thorough inspection of stains, tears, loose beads, and trim along with anything else that stands out. Soiled hem lines, split seams, perspiration stains, wedding cake, and make-up stains are all hand treated prior to cleaning. We take every precaution to protect delicate beads, embroidery, and lace during the cleaning process. Each gown is gently pressed and hand-finished to perfection.
The process is then completed by placing the gown in a high-quality archival box. You can also store other items such as gloves, hats, shoes, purses, etc. All items are safely wrapped in tissue paper to maintain your gown’s sparkling condition through the years.
Tip: When you bring your gown home make sure to store it in the living areas of your home. Avoid unfinished or unconditional rooms such as a basement or attic.

Carter's Dry Cleaners even helps you keep your home looking clean by providing professional cleaning for your comforters, blankets, bedspreads, quilts, duvets, drapes, tablecloths, napkins, and placemats.
We return items in special zippered bags for easy handling and storage.
Repairs & Tailoring
At Carter's Dry Cleaners we offer expert tailoring and repairs.
We do it all from fixing tears, sewing patches, and replacing zippers.
For that custom-fitted look, we sort pants, skirts, and dresses, adjust their waists, and shorten sport jacket/blazer and coat sleeves to fit the way you like.
You can enjoy the look of custom-fitted clothes without the cost of buying custom clothing!
Leather & Suede Cleaning
Trained leather and suede cleaning specialists will take the extra time needed to gently
remove stains and soil while leaving the leather or suede garment soft and preserving
its natural appearance.
Suede and sheepskin boots are cleaned inside and out by totally submerging the boots
in a gentle cleaning solution to remove those tough-to-get-out salt stains.
All boots are air dried, conditioned, and brushed before adding water repellency.
Fur Cleaning & Storage
The fur cleaning and glazing process removes stains and conditions the skins.
A thorough inspection will take place first to determine the fur's fragile nature. Furs that are stored with us
are placed in a climate control vault to prevent the skins from drying out, allowing for years of enjoyment to come!
